Welcome to getcoached.app ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website or use our mobile application "Check In Hub".

- Identity Data: includes first name, last name, or similar identifier.
- Contact Data: includes email address.
- Health Data: includes data related to your physical or mental health that you voluntarily provide to us (e.g., weight logs, habit completion, mood logs).
- Device Data: includes technical info about your device for debugging and analytics.
HealthKit and Health Connect Data: With your explicit permission, we may read data from Apple HealthKit (on iOS) or Google Health Connect (on Android) to display your step count within the app. This data is not used for marketing or advertising purposes and is not shared with third parties for their own use.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide the services you have requested (e.g., tracking habits, displaying progress).
- To manage your account and authenticate you.
- To improve our website and applications via anonymous analytics.
- To communicate with you about updates or changes to our services.
4. Third Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate our app:
- Supabase: For authentication, database, and file storage.
- PostHog: For anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the app.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.
6. Account Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
How to delete your data:
- In-App: Go to Settings > Profile > Delete Account. This will immediately remove your account and data from our active database.
- By Email: You can also request deletion by emailing us at help@getcoached.app. We will process your request within 30 days.
7. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed.
